Privacy Policy
White Feather Fund collects as little personal information as it can, uses it only to run the fund and to keep in touch with the people who support it, and never sells it. This policy explains what we hold, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Information we collect
We collect information you give us, and a small amount that is collected automatically when you use the site.
Information you give us
- Your name, email address and message when you use a contact or enquiry form.
- Your name, email address and donation details when you donate by card or tell us about a bank transfer.
- Your name, email address, delivery address and order details when you buy from The Collection.
- Your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.
Information collected automatically
- Standard server logs, including IP address, browser and the pages you visited.
- Cookie data, described in our Cookie Policy.
Card payments are handled by our payment providers. We do not see or store your full card number.
How we use your information
- To answer your enquiry.
- To process and acknowledge a donation, and to keep the financial records the fund is required to keep.
- To fulfil and deliver an order from The Collection.
- To send you updates about the fund, if you have asked for them. Every message includes a way to stop.
- To keep the site secure and working, and to understand which pages people find useful.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Sharing your information
We share personal information only with the organisations that help us run the fund, and only as far as they need it:
- Our payment providers, to take card donations and shop payments.
- Our bank, for donations made by transfer.
- Our website host and email provider, who process data on our instructions.
- Delivery partners, where an order has to be shipped.
- Anyone we are required to share it with by law.
Cookies
The site uses cookies to keep it working, to remember what is in your basket, and to understand how it is used. What each one does, and how to turn the optional ones off, is set out in the Cookie Policy.
How long we keep it, and how we protect it
Enquiries are kept only as long as they are useful. Donation and order records are kept for as long as the fund’s financial and reporting obligations require, and then deleted.
The site is served over HTTPS, access to the systems that hold personal information is limited to the people who need it, and we review that access.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete it, where we are not required to keep it.
- Stop sending you updates, at any time.

Children’s privacy
The site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. Photographs and stories of the children the fund supports are published only with the consent of Foyer de Nazareth and the guardians responsible for them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
